Personal news from each participant (when you are done with your segment please ask the next person what has been up with them)

John – I arrived 中国体彩官方app late Sunday from Dallas where I attended the NRA Annual Meeting. Unlike the SHOT Show, the Annual Meeting is more about people than product. I saw a lot of old friends who I’ve met over the years and I made some new ones. Liston Matthews – he has been on the show before – and I roomed together. On Saturday night, we attended Cinco de Bane-O or Michael Bane’s birthday party. I met more than one person there who was a listener of the show! Finally, I’d like to thank Gila and Marty Hayes of ACLDN for their kindness in letting me store my luggage in their booth on Sunday before I had to leave for the airport.

Paul/Susan – news segment gone – medical issues

From Donald J Trump, President:

In America, we trust the people to be wise and good. We trust them to take responsibility for themselves, their families, and their communities. And that is why in America, we have always trusted the people to bear arms.”

A Florida man used his concealed firearm to protect himself from a late-night car-jacker. Witnesses say that the CCW holder used his firearm after the attacker punched him in the face. The attack took place in a parking lot in Orlando. The victim was about to enter the premises when he was approached and attacked by the car-jacker. When police arrived, they found the attacker unresponsive at the scene. They have not disclosed whether the victim will face charges for defending himself.

Memphis police are searching for a man who attempted an armed robbery in broad daylight outside their 中国体彩官方app, after a woman used her firearm to stop the incident. The victims reported that a man asked them if he could use their phone, and then asked for a ride, before pulling a gun on them. The woman observed the incident and came from her 中国体彩官方app with her handgun, firing a warning shot. The video shows all too well how confusing and spontaneous these situations can be. Police are using the family’s 中国体彩官方app surveillance video to identify the attacker.

When two men tried to rob his store Friday morning, a pawn shop clerk in Bountiful, Utah, hid for a moment before shooting and killing one of the suspects who pointed a gun at him, authorities said. Bountiful Police reviewed the store’s video footage and then said that the clerk was “obviously defending himself”. When the two armed robbers entered the store, the clerk retreated to a small room, drawing his concealed firearm. When one of the attackers followed him there, the clerk used the firearm to defend himself. The attacker was still able to grapple with the clerk, before succumbing to the defensive gunshots.

When a 中国体彩官方app invasion took place at 4.30 in the morning, a 70-year grandmother Maxine Thompson used her late mother’s handgun to chase the intruder out of her 中国体彩官方app. Despite security lights and alarms, and shouted warnings, the invader broke a window and entered the 中国体彩官方app. It was then that the grandmother Thompson, who lives alone, opened fire. She said, “At first I thought I was dreaming, but the banging continues.. I yelled ‘get off my door’..’when I shot at him, he turned and ran, so I ran down the stairs after him and shot some more..I hope I sent him and the rest of them a lesson ‘get the hell out of peoples’ houses’ “. The 43 year old intruder is in hospital. To quote The Freshmen from 1968: “Go granny, GO!”

San Antonio, Texas

A 33-year-old woman called 911 at 4:30 AM telling them that she had just shot a man in a room at a San Antonio Motel 6.

By the time officers arrived, he was gone.

She told them that her ex-boyfriend had recently gotten out of prison and had shown up earlier in the evening and caused a disturbance.

She had thought he had left, but when she opened the door to go do laundry, he suddenly forced his way in.

He pulled a knife and attempted to sexually assault her. She responded by shooting him.

A few minutes later, another 911 call was received directing them to a nearby 7-Eleven.

They found the man suffering from two gunshot wounds in the back seat of a SUV.

They detailed and questioned the woman who had driven him to the store and meanwhile at the motel the woman who shot him was questioned.

It was too early to tell if her self-defense claim will hold up.

Limestone County, Texas

Laura Williams was awakened by the ringing of the doorbell. Williams went to the door and answered it. The man at the door had a shovel and asked for a lady’s name to which she replied that he had the wrong address, there was no one there by that name.

He left but Williams felt uncomfortable.

She looked out her window and could see him standing at the opening to the woods with the shovel and looking back at her 中国体彩官方app.

She woke her daughter and rounded up the dogs and went to her bedroom.

As soon as she got the door shut, he was back, kicking in the front door and hitting it with the shovel.

Williams pulled her revolver out of the nightstand and confronted the man in the living room. At the same time, her daughter was calling 911.

She took aim and told him, “if you take one more step I’ll kill you.”

He mumbled something then turned to leave. As he walked through the door, he stopped and told her, “Well, all y’all need to know is y’all need to leave me the F alone.”

Deputies arrived 14 minutes later and found the man in a nearby trailer park.

Maple Valley, Washington

It was 8:30 PM when 2 cars pulled into the Maple Valley, Washington driveway. The 中国体彩官方appowner noticed them while checking on the animals he owns.

He walked up to them and asked if he could help them. They said, “Well, I think we have the wrong house.” The 中国体彩官方appowner replied, “OK. I could help you. But I’m sorry, nothing personal, I’m gonna have to take some pictures of you guys.”

He pulled out his cellphone and did just that. One of the guys took his hat off for the picture. He also saw one holding a shotgun and cocking it getting ready to shoot.

He tells them, “Don’t do it. Don’t be stupid.” And starts backing up. He is also practicing POGO.

As the shotgun wielder opened fire, he ran with his face toward the gunman because he wanted to keep himself between them and his house where his kids were. He exchanged fire with them at the same time.

He credited the trees with saving his life and keeping him uninjured.

His wife called 911 as the cars sped off.

He provided the pictures he took to detectives.

Rob- Carried every day. Posted another episode of Self-Defense Gun Stories with Jenna Meek as my instructor. I joined Bill Frady on Lock and Load Radio. I had my family 中国体彩官方app for thanksgiving, and I got to take my brother shooting.

John- I’m sorry I missed the last show. It was due to what I call the Olivia Daycare virus which hit all of us. I was a guest on Cheryl and Dan Todd’s Gun Freedom Radio the weekend after the election. In gun news I finished assembling my AR pistol. It is a mixture of used and new parts which is typical of most of my ARs. Finally, we’ve had a number of wildfires all over WNC. I’d like to thank the firefighters from around the country中国体彩官方app that have responded. With luck, we’ll get some good rain this week.

Rachel- Can’t believe it’s been 6 weeks since I was on the show??? ON the other hand, feels almost like 6 months

2- News 1

In her opinion, a Democrat Attorney General can’t violate the second amendment.

Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey told a federal court her recent ban on the sale of “Massachusetts-compliant” semi-auto rifles is both within the scope of her duties and complies with the US constitution. In July, Healy declared she was banning the sale of “copycat” rifles. These rifles shared any common parts such as triggers or bolt carriers with AR-15s, AK-variants and others on the Commonwealth’s prohibited “assault weapons” list. This led to a rush on stores by gun owners seeking to buy the newly prohibited models, as well as pushback from lawmakers and regulatory agencies. Finally, in September, four gun dealers and a firearms trade advocacy group filed suit in federal court seeking to overturn the new rules. This week, the attorney general’s 53-page response was that the legal challenge is without merit and should be dismissed.

The lawsuit brought against Attorney General Healy raised several objections.

Heally’s ruling is inconsistent with Massachusetts law,

It is unconstitutionally vague, and can be read in a way that violates the Second Amendment.

Healy replied that the allegations should be dismissed, because she is tasked with interpreting Massachusetts law, and that any strain placed on the Second Amendment “imposes no significant burden on the rights of law-abiding individuals to possess a firearm for self-defense in the 中国体彩官方app.”

Rob- She pretends that the Heller and McDonald cases don’t exist. States can interpret the Second amendment as a right of the state to bear arms, and that there is no individual rights to bear arms in the 中国体彩官方app.

John – She is trying to ride this to the governor’s office. I find it very sad that a lesbian fails to see how firearms such as these actually protect the LGBTQ community from abusers. She needs to talk to Erin Palette.

Gary –

Paul – Does anyone know if the SAF is involved?

Rob- Healy is talking to her donors, not her voters.

The news media has noticed an increase in gun sales to minorities, gays, and women. They are trying to portray it as a reaction to the election of Donald Trump. Comments?

Gary –

Rachel-Many of us had an inciting incident or encounter that woke us up to the possibility that we could need to protect ourselves, and made us want to carry a gun. If this is what woke them up, then good. I want more people awakened and taking personal responsibility.

John- has come out with a guide for liberals interested in gun ownership.

Constitutional Carry: South Dakota, North Dakota, Texas, …..who’s next?

FAQ on constitutional carry:

How would you explain Constitutional Carry?

Did you know that 20% of states allow it?

Does the data show more or less violent crime in those states?

What about needing a permit for reciprocity?

When can we get Constitutional Carry in Texas?

3 things we cannot fail to do: COME to hearings (commit now!), CALL your reps (now, and during session when bills get “stuck”), and CONNECT with TFF or another organization for action alerts

Rob- Politicians appeal to their narrow voting blocks and their political donors. With gerrymandering, politicians choose their voters, not the other way around. Politicians want to drive their political opponents from their states. We are seeing the big sort as people chose their politicians by moving to another state.

Rob- End of year donations?

Gun Quote – Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of liberty. Thomas Jefferson

Hang on everybody, we’ll be back with defensive gun use.

Update to CCW Carrier’s Save of a Florida Cop – CCW Carriers Assisting Cops
Last week, we covered a story that was developing as we recorded: a CCW holder had saved the life of a police officer being attacked alongside a Florida highway. Praise for the man who shot the attacker off the deputy was immediate and profound. And a local area gun store immediately put a very in the hands of the hero.

As a natural part of the investigation, the police took the good samaritan’s handgun into evidence. It will likely remain there for months, if not years. Mark Williams, of the Shoot Straight gun store in Fort Myers, acted to ensure the good guy will continue to have a self-defense gun. Shoot Straight, with the blessing and assistance of the Lee County Sheriff, gave the man a new Springfield XDS.

According to Sheriff Mike Scott; “In a day and age where race is a near-instant focus for media and other pundits in police incidents, the fact is that this hero happens to be a man of color who stopped another man of color from further harming or killing a white cop; thereby reminding us that black lives matter, blue lives matter, and indeed all life matters. We at your Sheriff’s Office remain proud to serve and focused on the mission.”

We also applaud the CCW holder, as well as Shoot Straight and the Lee County Sheriff’s Department for their civic duty. This is just another reminder that the police and the citizens are on the same team and can and should work in support of one another. This has been a hard week for law-enforcement, with five officers shot in the line of duty, two fatally. We stand with those that stand to “Protect and Serve”.

Gas Station Clerk v. Armed Serial Robber

A robber a gas station attendant before being fatally wounded himself. Matthew Brown, 20, was in the midst of a Tallahassee, Florida crime spree when he stopped to prey at a Sunoco gas station. He demanded money from the clerk, and backed-up his demands at the point of a gun. The two fought over the gun and the clerk was hit by a round fired from Brown’s gun. The wounded clerk made it to a firearm hidden under the store’s counter and got off a shot in defense of his life. That shot left Brown dying on the station’s floor.

Police believe Brown committed at least 10 other armed robberies in the past week. The silver Cobra handgun found near the body was seen at the other robberies, as was the distinctive upscale back-pack Brown carried. Brown’s get-away driver was arrested with clothing and zombie and clown masks also linked to the robberies. Kendrick Herring, 26, had been convicted of second-degree murder before being set free on a technicality. He had also served time for felony battery and cocaine possession. Herring was charged with armed robbery, possession of marijuana and cocaine, and murder while engaged in a felony offense. He is being held without bond.

The clerk is expected to recover from his wound. It is no stretch to say hIs use of the gun possibly saved his life.

Rob- Let’s not confuse success with good practice.

75-Year-Old Shoots 中国体彩官方app Invader
A 75-year-old man used a gun to defend his life during a late-night invasion of his . One suspect died at the scene, the other is still on the lam. The 中国体彩官方appowner awoke around 3 am from noises at his back door. According to police, he found two suspects standing inside his 中国体彩官方app. The man fired twice, hitting one, who collapsed and died in the 中国体彩官方app’s backyard. His partner ran off and has not been captured. Both invaders were described as males between 16 and 18.

Police say the incident remains under investigation.

CF- 中国体彩官方appowner is in a very difficult position, with intruders in his 中国体彩官方app and the Detroit Police’s response time measured in many minutes or even hours. Still, it would have probably been better to bunker down in a safe room.

78-Year-Old Grandma Defends Her Life With a Gun

Elaine Stiehl, 78, was preparing to take a nap when she heard from the front of her Atlanta area 中国体彩官方app. The feisty old grandma grabbed a gun, loaded it and stepped into the hallway. She found two strangers in that hallway. Seeing the gun, the two turned tail and ran from the house into a SUV driven by a female accomplice. The trio sped off but were later caught on the highway. Police recovered two guns (one was stolen), power tools and fur coats. The criminal masterminds, all looking like an anti-Meth advertisement, have been booked for burglary and theft by receiving stolen property.

As we learned decades ago, you just don’t mess with Grandma’s nap!

Rob- Was grandma good or lucky?

Well, for better or for worse, we now have a President-Elect Trump. I’ll leave off of discussing exactly how I feel about that man, but suffice to say that while he is no Clinton, he’s absolutely not my favorite.

I know a lot of us in the gun community are breathing a sigh of relief now. I understand that. I would also encourage us to still be mindful of our liberties, both the 2nd amendment and the rest of them. The Democratic party is learning a harsh lesson about expanding executive power – A strong executive is all well and good, until the winds of change turn against you, and the powers you just enacted turn to your political opponents. In that spirit, we should all be cautious if Trump turns out to be as authoritarian as he presented himself on the campaign trail – All of our liberties may be at risk if he succeeds in “reforming” libel laws and punishing political opponents, let alone the implications of his “carried out on a stretcher” comments. We should also be cautious that in our current (and entirely legitimate) fear about Jihadism and radical Islam, we don’t do permanent damage to the institution of religious freedom.

The grand irony here is that many Democrats are beginning to know why we conservatives have been harping on separation of powers, limited government, and the right to bear arms. Now that the balance of power is shifting away from their side, they’re looking to these principles, which they snidely ignored and derided before, to protect their liberties. I have had 2 friends, both transgender, call me up and ask me some questions about the process of becoming armed. Since this is nearly half of the trans people I know, I think it shows a sudden and decided shift in opinion. While I think their fears are overstated, we need to understand that for many people, the fear they feel is real, partly because of things Trump said, and partly because of the vastly distorted image of him the media portrayed.

If we really want to safeguard our 2nd amendment rights, I would encourage gun owners to be welcoming to liberals just now warming to the idea of bearing arms. Too much of our political discourse today is meme-based facebook snark-fests and straw-man misrepresentation of opposing views, and quite often we have no real understanding of why anyone could honestly hold different opinions. Your show has a history of civil, informed discussion that I would like to see take hold in more places, and your listeners could be a force for change, especially if they are there when these two sides meet at the gun counter. Listen, inform, be helpful, and help them to learn that the 2nd amendment is their right, too, and they should guard it every bit as jealously as we do.

-Jake from Iowa.

Gary –

I forgot to mention:

Perhaps the most important opportunity we have if liberals begin to show up at ranges and gun shops is to change their minds about Trump voters. They have been sold a bill of goods that Trump and all of his voters are hateful, racist, mysoginistic xenophobes. That’s a lie, and in every small interaction we have with people from the other side of the fence, we have a chance to prove it, if only we can stay civil, helpful, and -dare I say it? Compassionate.

-Jake from Iowa

Rob- Trump did more for the acceptance of smaller government in one week than the Libertarian party accomplished in 40 years.

Paul – I said it when the news story was brought up, but will say it again, welcome to the club to any and all that have joined us as gun owners.

Rachel-thank you Jake for the compliment to the show. I appreciate our informed, civil discussions also.

The Pentagon just issued a new policy to allow personnel to apply to carry concealed, personal weapons on military installations!

The federal building prohibition in the U.S. Code still stands, unless specifically excepted by the authority granting permission to carry. Other locations on a military installation, including possession in cars, would be covered and allowed under this policy. The individual services now get busy writing their own implementing instructions. It isn’t clear if all commanders will grant authorization to carry, but this policy change sure opens the door to allow it. Our new President may open the doors further if he delivers on his campaign promises.

Unfortunately, while this is a step in the right direction, it does nothing for most military members in “may issue” states, and states that rarely issue carry licenses to nonresidents (such as Illinois).

As expected, the arming authority must ensure applicants “Meet applicable federal, State, local, or, as applicable, host-nation requirements to carry a firearm. Proof of compliance may include a concealed handgun license that is valid under federal, State, local, or host-nation law in the location where the DoD property is located.”

Many military members will remain unable to protect themselves because of absurd host state attitudes toward self-defense.

Policy is here, in Section 4:

Thank you,

Kevin (in Illinois)

Rob- an executive order can fix this. We can change which bases are staffed. Hint.

Paul- I was going to say what rob just did, but will go a bit farther

Paul- Rob, do you have any new posts you want to mention?

Rob- I talked about reciprocity between states. The article is called-

I wrote a paid article for Second Call Defense. We see lots of gun owners who imagine they are safe because they own a gun. A gun does not make you safe. Your habits make you safe. That article is called

Those articles and more are up at Clash Daily, at Ammoland, and at my blog

John- We in the gun culture overall won on Election Day. That said, we need to be on our toes as the . A case in point is the push for so-called “smart guns”. The National Institute of Justice released their final specifications for such technology if it is to be used by law enforcement. This was in response to President Obama’s Executive Memorandum to Justice, 中国体彩官方appland Security, and DOD ordering to research the technology. Moreover, gun controllers are shifting their attention to the states where they have had more success. We need to be aware and be ready to crush their moves wherever and whenever it comes up.

Gary- We’d like to thank Charlie Foxtrot for writing up show notes for us. Even though you don’t hear him on the air he is certainly part of what you do hear. Look at his blog at

Of course last weekend I was in the class with the added bonus of a handgun retention class with

JOHN – The classes I teach at WCU started this week so I’ve been pretty busy with that. I did meet with a client yesterday and our conversation turned to guns. Turns out Tom qualified Expert with the M16A1 when he was a Combat Engineer in the Army Reserve in the 70s.

Chief Craig Effect: Detroit Citizens Arming Themselves In Face of Rising Crime Emailed in by Listener Anthony L

On the mean streets of Detroit, embattled citizens are arming themselves for their own protection with the approval and support of Police Chief James Craig. In a city plagued by crime, unemployment, shrinking police numbers and decades of single party rule, many of the remaining citizens are trying to take back their city. Handgun registrations and CCW permits have increased notably.

“There’s definitely been a “Chief Craig” effect,” said Rick Ector, a firearms instructor, business owner, blogger and friend of this show. His support and endorsement has been helpful. Ector said that he and other instructors have seen a steady rise in locals looking to get a permit, to protect themselves either on the street or in their 中国体彩官方apps. Ector noted that legally armed residents are having an effect. “中国体彩官方app invasions have gone down,” he said. “A huge reason was that there was a huge spate of 中国体彩官方appowners using their guns against intruders. More people have guns and it’s making burglars cautious.”

Rick said women are driving the growth in his business. “It used to be that we would only have one or two women in a class,” he said. “Now we are seeing much, much more. In the largely African-American city, residents are increasingly supportive of civilian armament. “If anyone should have the right or need to carry a gun, it should be the African-American community,” Philip Smith, founder of the National African American Gun Association, told Reuters.

Seems like this is one more lesson that can be learn from the rise and fall of Detroit. If only they were willing to listen.

Sean – The real terror of this is the lack of control. Anti-gunners don’t want low crime, they want high control.

Rachel – I appreciate those who make the gun world much easier for women to enter and thrive in.

John – what threatens the gun controllers even more that it is African Americans

Paul – going to reach out to Rick Ector this week for next weekend’s show

An Alabama Sheriff just doesn’t get it

Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor thinks that regardless of whether you qualify for a concealed carry permit that HE should be the one who decides if you get it. Taylor was quoted in a saying that “We know things that the computer can’t tell us. We know things about our citizens. We know who’s going through a divorce. We know who’s in a bad time, who may be drinking too much, who may be abusive, but hasn’t necessarily crossed the line of a crime. But in our opinion, they don’t need a pistol permit” This following a theater shooting that we covered a few weeks ago where the gunman got a pistol despite several disqualifying factors that should have stopped him in the NICS check system. What the sheriff didn’t say is that the same things that should have stopped the gunman from getting a gun through NICS also would have allowed any sheriff to disallow the carry permit.

John – this makes me think of the NC sheriffs and the pistol permit system.

Sean – So he’s saying that he has a list of citizens he’s put on double secret probation?

Rachel – I know many people who would think this is a great idea. They don’t realize that this line of thinking will come back to bite them….and their grandkids.

Gary – They are doing this in Illinois, we are shall issue but any law enforcement agency can deny permits.

Gabby Giffords and Starman Kelly Redefine Gun Control as Gun Responsibility

In an Orwellian redefinition of the term, Gabby Gifford and her opportunistic husband Mark “Starman” Kelly are claiming that , but rather favor ‘gun responsibility’. Despite never meeting a gun-control effort they didn’t like, they now say they do not support ‘gun-control’ in the traditional sense of the phrase. With a profound grasp of the obvious, Kelly said that nobody likes to be controlled. He went on to say that the gun control group he and Giffords launched simply supports “basic principles” to keep communities safer.

This is an indication of the success the gun-rights community has earned; the term “gun-control’ now has a negative connotation with most of the public. The terms gun-safety and now gun-responsibility are simply efforts to get around the public’s evolving understanding. Giffords and Kelly’s statement is a nuanced, and deceitful, acknowledgement of our gains.

As Kurt Schlichter said to the antis; “Screw You”. Giffords and Kelly are urged to again substitute a word.

Gary – Government forcing ‘Gun Responsibility’ IS ‘Gun Control’

John – I’m reminded of our interview with Jeff Knox regarding the VA and SSA. Shouldn’t Gabby Giffords actually be a prohibited person due to brain injuries.

Gary –

Paul – unfortunately I saw in the news this week that Giffords has had a US Navy ship named after her. I think that it is unfortunate that a ship made for fighting is named for a person who is against our rights.

Sean – Gun Ban, Gun Control, Gun Safety, Gun Responsibility: You can say poop, feces, or night soil, but no matter what you call it, it tastes just the same .

Rachel- this is true Sean, but it’s also true that those who control the narrative have a significant edge. Maybe we’ve successfully given gun “control” a negative connotation…let’s also make sure we’re the ones who successfully define gun responsibility.

Senators Ask For Extra-legal Delay of Firearms Purchases

In a coordinated anti-rights assault, thirteen anti-gun U.S. senators have Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s to refuse to release firearms to customers whose background checks aren’t completed within three business days. Michael Bloomberg’s Demanding Mommies is also the same demand of Gander Mountain and Sportsman’s Warehouse. And, U.S. Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) and Brady Campaign president Dan Gross the same from firearm dealers nationwide. Thankfully, the retailers have so far not responded to the demands.

The largely ineffective requires initial background checks to be completed within three business days. The three day limit is there so as to not violate the Second Amendment toooooo much. If the automated check is not completed in time, the retailer is allowed to release the firearm. If granted, these extralegal requests would deny a fundamental right as the result of bureaucratic delay. The threat of deliberate delays is clear.

We applaud the retailer’s decision to resist the pressures of the legislators and activists. We support those that support us.

John – I have just three little words for these retailers – Smith. And. Wesson. They should remember what happened S&W when they entered an agreement with the Clinton Administration.

Sean – The 3 day limit was put there on purpose…

Rachel- everybody, do your part. Be proactive in getting to retailers and encouraging them to support our rights.

Gary- I carry these

Sean – No Secret boycotts

John – Delta and their ban on trophies

One serves in the Air Force, another recently served in Afghanistan in the National Guard, another is studying physical therapy in Sacramento – and these 3 Americans are being hailed as heroes for tackling & disarming a gunman they happened to encounter on a high-speed Amsterdam-Paris train.

Air Force serviceman Spencer Stone remained hospitalized Saturday after being stabbed, though the Pentagon said the injury was not life-threatening. another passenger was wounded by a handgun in the attack.

The French Interior Minister said the American “were particularly courageous and showed great bravery in very difficult circumstances.

The attacker did not fire his automatic weapon but did wound one man with a handgun and another with a blade. The suspect is a 26-year-old Moroccan.

It’s unclear whether there was a political motive to the gunman’s actions. Counterterrorism police are leading the investigation and are questioning the attacker,

Sean – Let’s not forget the fourth member of our band of “have a go heroes,” a

Gary – I have to quote the NRA “Good guys with guns stop bad guys with guns”

14 Year Old Defends Siblings From 中国体彩官方app Invaders

Faced with , a 14 year old did everything he had to do: He hid his six year old twin siblings in closets, got his father’s cell phone…. and he grabbed his rifle. When one of the intruders opened the closet where he was hiding, the thug found himself not facing the expected frightened child, but the muzzle of the young man’s firearm. “I had my gun loaded and ready to shoot, but when he saw me he just took off running,” young Andrew Mason related. Andrew’s father said “He’s excellent. He did everything perfectly. He couldn’t have done better, and he’s actually a hero,”

The proud papa had done pretty well himself. Kiewa Mason recounted that “I believe in the right to bear arms, and it’s not like he was foreign to it. We go to the shooting range quite often. We go to the Clark County (Las Vegas) shooting range quite often. Kiewa Mason said his family has practiced for this scenario.

The two thugs were videoed by the 中国体彩官方app’s security system. They are well known to the neighborhood and are expected to be arrested soon.

Our congratulations to the two Mason men; Well done, well done indeed.

Rachel – gun safety storage, authorized use

Gary – Similar law here in Illinois.

Paul – Good on the father for teaching the child that once someone is running away not to shoot.

Sean – Something jumps out at me when I look at a picture of the young man with the rifle.

Four Teenagers Shoot 中国体彩官方appowner and at Wife Holding a Six Month Old Baby

In a bone-chilling reminder of why we arm ourselves, a Georgia family had to endure the by four armed men. Michael Lash answered a teen’s plea for the loan of a car jack. Once the door was opened, four males forced their way inside. In the fracas, Lash was shot twice in the legs. The thugs then fired at his wife holding their six-month-old daughter. The shot fortunately missed. Their two year old son was unharmed in the incident.

Whitney Lash was talking to a 911 operator before the first shots rang out. However, the cops arrived far too late to apprehend the suspects, who remain at large. The horrifying 911 recording can be found at the link in the show notes.

Listeners are reminded to NEVER open the door to someone they do not know. If they appear official, confirm their identity by a call to their organization. And please take heed of the many stories we present of armed 中国体彩官方appowners successfully defending their lives with a firearm.

Defensive Gun Use: Shop Owner Refuses To Be Robbed, Takes Robber’s Gun And Shoots Him With It

when two robbers entered his CAD Auto Parts in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Lucky because he was able to take away one of robbers’ guns and use it to defend himself.

Conrad Bloomfield, 36, of Lauderhill and his accomplice entered Hepburn’s auto parts shop and demanded he get on the ground while they began robbing the shop. When Hepburn was slow to get on the ground, Bloomfield began to pistol whip him. It was then that Hepburn took the robber’s gun and turned it on him. He ended up shooting Bloomfield 5 times in the chest. The accomplice did wound Hepburn in the exchange of gunfire. Fortunately, Hepburn is expected to have a full recovery while Bloomfield is in critical condition.

Ever since Illinois became the last state in the country中国体彩官方app to allow concealed carry, we’ve seen reports of legally-armed citizens against armed criminals. Here is another one of those stories that happened late Thursday. A 24-year-old man, legally carrying a concealed firearm, was walking down the street with a woman when and announced that they were being robbed . . .

As a response, the 24-year-old drew his firearm, as did one of the armed thugs. Both men fired. The permit holder was shot in the leg, while the suspect was shot in the chest.

Both were taken to the same hospital where the permit holder is in stable condition. The suspect, however, is in critical condition and, if he makes it through his injuries, will be facing numerous charges.

Paul – shot placement

Sean – What constitutes a “Win?”

Rachel- too often, it’s not about the wallet. That may be the pretext, but things can escalate quickly.

Paul – I carry 2 wallets

Rachel- there’s always the wallet holster…

Sean – I ain’t here for no gunfight

Listener e-mail discussion

Our first email is from Chris in North Carolina

Hey All,

(Caution! wall of text below. Feel free to edit as necessary for brevity as desired)

I have been meaning to drop you one of those oh-so coveted fan emails for a while now but marriage, a new job, and moving to North Carolina got in the way of things. I wanted to express my appreciation to everyone for all the time and effort put into the show each week. Those of you on air and those who work behind the scenes (I’m talking about you Charlie Foxtrot) are doing amazing work. I eagerly anticipate the release of each show. I savor the knowledgeable,
insightful and sometimes irreverent commentary you and your guests provide. You are my go-to podcast for my short commute each day.

I am a native born Minnesotan so a comment in episode 343 caught my attention. You mentioned a very wise hesitancy to render aid to the aggressor in a DGU that happened in Minnesota. I know Paul travels through the “California of the north” so I thought I’d mention this.
Some states have laws with severe penalties that may be interpreted to require you to foolishly put your life in danger a second time and render aid if you’ve used deadly force to stop someone threatening your life.

Of course there are conditional statements in the verbiage of the law making use of what I like to call “lawyer speak” (a.k.a. weasel words) that can be interpreted to allow you to not rendering physical aid if you are still in fear of your life. However, as we have seen there is a concerted effort by the media and most liberals to misinterpret these passages in a way that is NOT advantageous to a victim who chooses to defend themselves. The _potential_ exists that you may be prosecuted for not going beyond calling the cleanup crew to help someone who just tried to kill you.

I personally believe no person should ever be required by the power of the state to do more than call the police and let the trained professionals approach a violent offender. Depending on the prosecutor you could be at risk if you do not. Here is a link to the statute . I hope this helps people make an informed decision if they should ever have to do the unsavory duty of defending themselves or loved ones. P.S. I’m sure John is wondering, yes for the time being, I do live in Cary, the Containment Area for Relocated Yankees.

I really enjoy listening to The Polite Society Podcast. I listen every week and always check for new podcasts during the week. The DGU’s are very interesting and there are only a couple of gun shows that even discuss items like this. As much as I enjoy the show, I do have a couple of suggestions for making it even more interesting.

I would love to hear you have Dr. John Lott on the show and just let him discuss facts about gun deaths, crimes and state laws in America. It seems like every time someone has Dr. Lott on their show they only allow him to answer specific questions and then rush him to provide an answer. I always get the feeling that he had much much more to discuss, but show times didn’t allow him to speak.

If the show time doesn’t allow for Dr. Lott to discuss the details of his research, then make the time, extend the length of the show or make it a two or three part series. I’m sure that other subscribers/listeners are just as interested in his research as I am and this would provide a lot of information for gun owners to use in conversations with those on the fence about guns. I think that Massod Ayoob would be just as interesting. *** Just ask them a question or two to get the conversation started and then turn them loose.

Another guest that I’d love to hear from is someone like Michael Bloomberg or the leader of Mothers Against whatever. ** It would be interesting to hear just how people like this think and/or process information. I wouldn’t allow them to misstate the facts about guns, as a matter of fact it would be good to hear how they actually handle the facts.

These are just suggestions about shows that I believe would be highly listened to podcasts and quite possibly make national news that could put “The Polite Society Podcast” in the must listen to podcasts of many people.

Thank you,

John – We have had Dr. Lott on the show a while back. Perhaps it is time to get him on again.

Sean – GET GAIL!

Rachel- Wanna find out “how they actually handle the facts”? Sounds like they handle facts by avoidance…ignorance is bliss?

John – I’d love to have Shannon Watts on to explain why she opposes campus carry when her daughter goes to a school where they have campus carry.

We also got an email from Clayton

Hey folks, I heard y’all begging for emails so I decided to pipe up and educate you a bit.
While Minnesota did drop several states from our recognized reciprocity, (we only recognize permits that include live fire in the class qualification) we have been making large breakthroughs in pro gun legislation. We are moving in the right direction at a pretty good pace! While California is sliding deeper and deeper in the opposite direction.
We have no magazine capacity limit, no ammo purchase limit, no limit on number of firearms carried, our permit allows rifle and shotgun carry, no thumb safety requirement, no god forsaken bullet buttons, and we can even carry guns in the woods without a permit.
(It literally says “in the woods” in the statute. Ha) There are A LOT of hunters here.

Minnesota just legalized suppressors, hunting with them, and stripped the government from the ability to confiscate weapons during a declared emergency. (We didn’t even know they had that power since we have no earthquakes or hurricanes! Apparently a legislator snuck it in around May)
We stripped the requirement to notify the Capitol of intention to carry on grounds too. There is no language in our laws about open or concealed for our carry, so I like to open carry for comfort, speed, and to be a pleasantly polite ambassador to the public for responsibly armed citizens like us.

I know those are common things for Southerners but I just wanted to remind you we aren’t as Liberal as the “Twin Cities” want you to believe. We have nearly 200,000 issued permits here and it’s growing fast.
I’m proud to be an NRA member, (an unnamed organization) permit to carry instructor, and (an unnamed number of) guns owner!

John – Now why doesn’t MN recognize NC because we meet their class and shooting requirements.

Gary – Rob can’t be with us but he is still writing. He posted yesterday about the train shooting in France. You can see that post at John you have a new post this week right?

We would like to thank Charlie Foxtrot for writing up show notes for us. Even though you don’t hear him on the air he is a big part of what you get to hear. look his blog up at not one more gun law dot blogspot dot com

Personal news from each participant
Paul: The only thing gun related I got to do since the last time we recorded was to inform an officer of the Joplin PD that I was carrying. He told me thanks!

John: No gun news to report but I did book my room for the NRA Annual Meeting in Indianapolis which is being held April 25-27. If you are anywhere near Indy, I’d suggest trying to at least make a day trip of it. As Rob can attest, it is a great experience.

Rachel: Nothing much. Just staffed the Appleseed booth at the national AG&AG conference in Waco Thursday through Sunday, had my County convention on Saturday (and was responsible for some drama there), a bunch of activists I trained did better at making stuff happen in their conventions than I did in mine, and now I’m prepping for the Appleseed shoot I’m shoot bossing in San Antonio this weekend. Working with Texas Law Shield on some projects with TFF. Nothing to see here, just everyday work….

“I will not comply” Rant

I personally love the “I will not comply” attitude when it comes to confiscation of firearms. It after all is the one final answer that we all can give that lets the politicians know the really very limited power that they do have. However there are a few things that I would like to bring out and explore around this. #1 If you say it, mean it, and know what it means. Unfortunately there are a lot of “mall ninjas” that hang around the firearms and Second Amendment arena. They want the toys, they want the cool stuff, but when it comes time to do the work they are no where to be found. These are the same people who when you ask, “Are you an NRA member?” give you some BS answer about not wanting to be on a list or being angry about something the NRA did in the mid 60’s to mid 80’s. You then ask if they are a SAF member and they give you a blank stare, trying to think of what the SAF is. A lot of these people are now the ones screaming out “Molon Labe! I will not comply!”

Let’s explore what will – and I did say WILL happen when you don’t comply.

1) – They will come for you. Eventually some form of law enforcement will show up, and if you are lucky you will get a knock on your door and your stuff will be confiscated and you will go to jail. If you are unlucky the door will explode open and the shock troops will come in and take the house or your place of business in a no-knock raid.

#2) If you think that the weapons charge is the only thing that they will charge you with (should you survive the arrest) then you are sorely mistaken. Should it come to the point where they are starting to confiscate weapons they are going to try to make all arrests look like they are going after the dregs of society. Have you ever been a little late filing with the IRS? Did you once have a little bit too much to drink before driving 中国体彩官方app and plead that down to a misdemeanor? Have you always returned every library book on time? They are going to dig VERY deep before the raid to make sure that they can make you look bad when they parade you in front of the media.

#3) The rest of the gun owning public won’t charge in and break you out of jail. At least at the very beginning the rest of us will be worried about ourselves and what we are are doing to keep our families safe. We will see the storm clouds brewing and be preparing for the storm. Let’s go back to the pre revolutionary war period. The shot heard ‘round the world was not the British regulars first attempt at confiscation. The Boston Massacre occurred 5 years before the battle of Lexington and Concord. I do not expect a 5 year build up, but it happened then, and I don’t expect 1 incident to bring the ire of 100 million plus gun owners to the surface immediately.

4) If you say it, and you mean it, know that many, many of us stand with you. Even with all that I have said, and all of the horribleness that will fall upon those that are victimised first know that there really are many of us in the 100 plus million gun owners that truly do stand with you. I know that Anthony Colandro meant it when he said it. There are many more whom I believe when I hear them say it. I hope that soon our voices will reach the right places and true change can happen. We ARE winning the fight for our rights, slowly and with some setbacks, but we are winning. I believe there will come a time in my lifetime when the 2nd Amendment will be my carry permit, and the 14th Amendment will be my reciprocity agreement. But for now we are threatened in many areas with laws that would make criminals of us.

In every battle there are casualties. Every soldier that volunteers to put on the uniform for our country中国体彩官方app knows that they could be injured or killed in their service. What I am asking is for every gun owner to become a soldier for our rights. It could be costly for you. You could be arrested, you could lose your reputation. You could lose a lot more. Know this before taking up the cause. If you say “I will not comply” and “MOLON LABE” then in my opinion you MUST belong to the NRA and The SAF. You MUST be registered to vote and YOU MUST VOTE! We have a chance to turn things our direction this November peaceably, but of you are not participating you are nothing but a mall ninja in the 2A world wanting the cool stuff without doing any of the work that comes with it.

End of rant.

James Kaleda needs our support. Do it here, and I will ask when I meet you. John? Rachel? Paul? Susan?

Connecticut Citizens Defense League has a rally scheduled on April 5th in Hartford Connecticut Connecticut deserves our support.

Mail in your NRA ballot too!

Paul- A California state senator who both represents San Francisco, and who enthusiastically authored gun control legislation was arrested after he asked for campaign donations in exchange for introducing an undercover FBI agent to an arms trafficker. The allegations against State Sen. Leland Yee were outlined in an FBI affidavit in support of a criminal complaint. The affidavit accuses Yee of conspiracy to deal firearms without a license and to illegally import firearms. Yee is also accused wire fraud for accepting tens of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions and cash payments to provide introductions, help a client get a contract and influence legislation. Yee discussed helping the FBI agent get weapons worth $500,000 to $2.5 million, including shoulder fired automatic weapons and missiles, and took him through the entire process of getting them from a Muslim separatist group in the Philippines to the United States.

Rob’s comment- , a notoriously corrupt politician,

John- John Lott said “Our soldiers need protection on base.. and should be armed. Currently, soldiers on military bases are not allowed to carry guns. Indeed, the military specifically forbids personnel from carrying firearms for personal protection except when “a credible and specific threat against [military] personnel [exists] in that region.”

That sounds like the same “justifiable need” statement they use in California, New Jersey and Maryland. That is why, during the Navy yard shooting, the unarmed soldiers, sailors and marines could do nothing but cower as the shooter fired round after round. For perspective, military bases have relatively few military police since crime rates on bases are normally low. And it was a similar story in 2009 at Fort Hood. Maj. Nidal Hasan was unchallenged as he stood on a desk and kept shooting down victim after victim in work cubicles at Fort Hood, Texas.

Rachel- Don’t put your faith in judges. Washington DC resident Mark Witaschek was convicted of having unlawful ammunition for a muzzle loading rifle.. the same rifle that does not require registration in DC. That means you have to register your rifle that doesn’t require registration.. so you can register the rifle’s ammunition. The judge didn’t know guns from gorillas. Judge Robert Morin sentenced Mr. Witaschek to time served, a $50 fine and required him to enroll with the Metropolitan Police Department’s firearm offenders’ registry within 48 hours. The case will cost Witaschek hundreds of thousands of dollars.

John -You may now record the police in Illinois after this court ruling from the Illinois supreme court. A non-english speaker was imprisoned for over 20 months after recording a conversation with a court reporter supervisor.

Rob- About 150 attendees filed into Lansingburgh’s Grace Baptist Church this past Sunday to hear Pastor John Koletas’ hymn and enter a raffle to win an AR-15 rifle, the reported.

Pastor Koletas preached in front of a large American flag and had a right-to-bear-arms-text hanging on the walls of the church. This is at least the second raffle of the month. “We have our Constitution to protect us, but we have our liberty to protect ourselves,” Koletas said during Sunday’s service. Churchgoers were relatively calm and quiet as they filled the pews and submitted their names for the raffle. 42-year-old Schenectady resident Ron Stafford won the rifle, valued between $800 and $1,200.

Paul -If you were so foolish as to trust an Illinois politician, please please think again. The first batch of carry license denial letters have gone out from the Illinois State Police. As feared, the letters do not specify which agency filed an objection, the contents of the objection or specifically how the individual is a danger to themselves and/or public safety. In short, what we’ve got is a “may issue” licensing scheme, crafted by House Speaker Michael Madigan, where anti-gun local officials can reject license applications for any reason at all. NRA’s lawyers are putting together their legal response.

John- The National Shooting Sports Foundation does not send out alerts or “take action” notices very often. In fact, they’re rare. When they do urge action, it’s usually a significant issue. Last week the NSSF asked gun owners to contact their senators to stop Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s attempt to force the Administration into issuing an executive order banning the importation of certain semi-auto modern sporting rifles. (Rob has a comment)

John -This is why you lock your doors and try to retreat. A Houston firefighter returning 中国体彩官方app from a night of St. Patrick’s Day partying was shot and killed by his next-door neighbor when he tried to enter the wrong house. 27 year old Sam Keen was asked to leave the bar so his friends put him in a cab. The cab stopped next door, rather than in front of Keen’s house. Keen couldn’t find his way 中国体彩官方app and entered the wrong house.

Rob – Idaho is part of that are seeking to nullify federal firearms laws. Congratulations to Idaho on being among the first to actually pass a nullification bill. Their bill, S1332, was and applies to future federal law. Specifically, this bill is designed to “protect Idaho law enforcement officers from being directed, through federal executive orders, agency orders, statutes, laws, rules, or regulations enacted or promulgated on or after the effective date of this act, to violate their oath of office and Idaho citizens’ rights under Section 11, Article I, of the Constitution of the State of Idaho.” Violators will be fined $1,000.

Rachel – A couple weeks ago, we had Keith Morgan from WVCDL on the show to talk about the success of their group’s intense efforts to get SB317 through the WV legislature. SB317 is the state preemption bill for gun carry laws. After we spoke, they had to engage in another battle when there was a question about whether the governor would actually sign the bill. They’ve been working feverishly to get his signature – that finally happened yesterday. Kudos to the grassroots activists at WVCDL.

West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin’s statement: “This evening, I signed Senate Bill 317 because I support our 2nd Amendment rights, and I also see the need for uniform and consistent gun laws throughout the state. I believe this legislation will give municipalities clarity for regulating firearms in their facilities.”

John DGU- Near Detroit, a Jet’s Pizza delivery driver shot back after he was robbed at gunpoint at about 11 p.m. Saturday in Redford. The victim was making a delivery to a residence where two men posed as customers. One of the men grabbed the driver and the other man showed a handgun and demanded the victim’s money. The legally armed delivery driver shot the suspects. The uninjured driver left the area and called 911. The robbers also fled in a waiting vehicle. One of the men was later found at a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, and another man was arrested Monday night, police reports said. The injured suspect, Clarence Sanders, 27, of Detroit, was arraigned Monday in the hospital on a charge of armed robbery, according to Redford Police.

A warrant request is being prepared on the second suspect.

Rachel DGU- An adult man was killed in a shooting in Bakersfield, California and another was escorted from a 中国体彩官方app and placed in a police vehicle. The Bakersfield Police Department said that at about 4:51 a.m., Shawn Christian Ibarra, 35, armed himself with a breaker bar and kicked in the front door. He was then shot by another man in the house, which resulted in the death of Ibarra. Ibarra was on Post Release Community Supervision.. commonly called “early release” from prison. Police believe the 中国体彩官方appowners and Ibarra knew one another.

Paul DGU- An intruder called 911 after he was shot during a break in attempt, in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. Charles Prince attempted to break into a balcony bedroom at a 中国体彩官方app on East Admiral Doyle Drive. Prince woke the victim, who grabbed a handgun and fired 2 shots at Prince, hitting him once in the arm. The 中国体彩官方appowner called the Sheriff’s Office around 8:39 p.m. and explained that he had shot at an intruder. Shortly afterward, the Sheriff received a 911 call from Prince who said he had been shot near the victim’s 中国体彩官方app. Prince was transported to the Iberia Medical Center, and will be charged with Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling.

Rob DGU- Michael Huston, 26, faces one count of residential burglary and one count of possession of burglary tools, both felonies, according to the Kane County Illinois Sheriff’s office. Huston broke into a house and was shot by the 中国体彩官方appowner. Huston was found by sheriff’s deputies a few blocks away from the burglary and taken to Delnor Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Rob DGU NSF- A group of boys, one as young as 13, tried breaking into a 中国体彩官方app Sunday on Bedford Street in Detroit. His house was robbed the day before, but this time Gregory Lindsey was 中国体彩官方app. Mister Lindsey’s son was downstairs doing 中国体彩官方appwork when he heard banging on the door. Outside, five or six young boys were trying to get in. The 中国体彩官方appowner took his semi- auto 22 and ran out the front door. “Lots of them scattered, but I caught one,” Lindsey said. For 20 minutes the teen sat on Lindsey’s porch at gunpoint, until police arrived. “He was kind of scared but it’s a lesson that needs to be learned because too many kids are going to people’s houses and getting shot now… Whoever got through that door would absolutely have been shot.”

Hi Everyone,

I haven’t had a reason to write to the show before but something Rob said on episode 222 compelled me to compose this. After mentioning the James Kaleda situation again and that his defense fund was coming up short I feel it would be wise to bring one of my few moments of shear brilliance to your attention. I call it $22 for 2A.

It really started about 2 weeks ago when the phone rang while listening to another podcast that just happened to be discussing this injustice at that exact moment . While checking the caller ID I realized the number 2 and letter A are on the same key. Thats when the light bulb came on.

Here’s how it works – it’s sort of a challenge to all those keyboard commandos out there. What you do is wait until the lottery jackpot gets a little bigger before buying a ticket, maybe leave the range with some extra ammo instead of having to buy and use an entire case each time. Take that money you didn’t spend and send $22 to the James Kaleda defense fund. I’m sure Rob will put it the show notes for those that may be google challenged.

It goes without saying that James stuck his neck out for anyone, anywhere, that owns a firearm or believes in the right to self defense. He deserves our support. I’ve donated and I don’t even live in the US.

Progressive socialism – the kind that seeks to strip you of your rights and make everyone dependant on government knows no borders. It’s like a septic pile of black goo that oozes it’s way around the world. When one nation has a brain cramp on firearms laws it would not surprise me if some faceless beauracrat at the UN is immediately spreading the word to other countries – saying…”You should try this.”. The border between Canada and the USA is really just a line on the map used to collect taxes. When something happens in one country中国体彩官方app the other is likely to follow. I don’t need to mention what is going on in Connecticut, New York, and our own issues with the CZ-858/Swiss Classic Green and Canada’s largest street gang – the RCMP.

Thanks for mentioning us and our troubles north of the 49th. It reassuring to know we’re not alone.

In the words of a great Canadian comic, Red Green, “Remember I’m pullin’ for ya; were all in this together.”.

Until next time,

Chris – Typing from the Peoples Republic of Canada.

Paul: John, do you have any post on your blog you want to mention?

John: I did a post earlier this week about the Jefferson County Arkansas Sheriffs’ Department. You know how anti-gun police and sheriffs’ departments have gun buybacks? Well, they had a gun auction that netted them over $125,000! I call it the anti-anti-gun buyback. Even better was was this statement from the JCSD: “Today’s auction provided citizens an informative, secure, and safe way to buy firearms at a bargain.” Well said, JCSD, well said.

-Update to NYC gun grab story from the weekend show.
It appears we, along with countless others (including Mississippi Gun News), may well have been “had” regarding yesterday’s item about the ““!

A poster on the Forums.Officer.com apparently did some digging and it seems the letter was only sent to one person, for reasons involving his specific permit. The letter was then supposedly altered to appear as something different. It had been accepted that parts of that letter had been officially redacted. Our thanks to a JPFO member who found this and notified us about it.

Big shock, a report what we have been saying all along. More guns really do mean less crime. I’m glad they have finally figured out the facts.

November 29th, to report that two men were trying to break into his 中国体彩官方app. However, before officers could respond, the men were coming into the 中国体彩官方app through a window. The 中国体彩官方appowner took action to protect himself. He fired at the two men, who then immediately fled the scene. One of the men was found by police a block away, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Paul- DGU2

It’s usually easier to defend yourself and your family from a threat if you already have a gun. However, a Louisiana family still managed to defend themselves using their assailant’s own gun against him. According to The Daily World, a suspect armed with a handgun and wearing a ski mask, entered a Ville Platte, LA 中国体彩官方app on Sunday. The armed suspect confronted a male visitor to the 中国体彩官方app, held a gun to his head and demanded money. The residents of the 中国体彩官方app refused. That’s when the suspect tried to execute his hostage. Fortunately, for some reason, the gun did not fire and a fight ensued.
